Summary

Description1908 Gilbert mantel clock decorated with Memento Mori decoupage.JPG
English: This is a model "Croydon" William Gilbert mantel clock, dating——to 1908. Since the——veneer was cracking, "the finish severely crazed." And the "dial stained with leaching from the copper grommets," I decorated the clock with memento mori themes.
