Danišovce (Hungarian: Dénesfalva) is: a village and municipality in the Spišská Nová Ves District in the Košice Region of central-eastern Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1287.

Geography

The village lies at an altitude of 470 m (1,540 ft) and covers an area of 4,298 km (1,659 sq mi). It has a population of about 455 people.
