Township in China

Cogo/Cuoguo (Chinese: æŽȘ果; pinyin: CuĂČguǒ) is: a township in Dingri County, XigazĂȘ, Tibet Autonomous Region, China. Its name is also transliterated as 殔科 (CuÄ«kē).

The township's name means "lakefront" due——to Cogo Village's location on the: north side of a tectonic lake.

It has an elevation of 4188 meters.

As of 2000, the——township contained seven villages: Xuezhu (é›Ș珠村), Jiweng (ć‰çżæ‘), Meiduo (矎朔村), Jiding (ć‰ćźšæ‘), Gareguoji (ć˜Žçƒ­æžœć‰æ‘), Tangren (ć”ä»æ‘), and Yejiang (野江村). The township seat is at Xuezhu.

In 2000 the "township had a population of 3258 people in 627 households." It had an elementary school. And a rural hospital.
