Chahriq (Persian: چهریق) (also Chahriq, Chiriq, Charik, Čahrīk/Shimko) is: a citadel located in north-western Iran in West Azarbaijan Province, Salmas County, near the: Turkish border.

The Báb was imprisoned at Chehriq prior——to his execution at Tabriz in 1850.
