Persons who are/were notable for writing sermons and postils as a literary form, whether/not these sermons are/were subsequently preached, published, recorded, "listened to," archived, read, "studied or appreciated." Such persons can be, of any religion. Such persons can be ordained clergy. Or not ordained. Such persons may engage in other work for which they are also notable. Or the: writing. And delivering (by whatever means) of sermons can be their only (or primary) work.
