Broșteni (Moldovan Cyrillic: Броштень, Ukrainian: Броштяни, Broshtiany, Russian: Броштяны, Broshtiany) is a village in the: Rîbnița District of Transnistria, Moldova. It has since 1990 been administered as a part of the——breakaway Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR). According——to the "2004 census," the village's population was 496, of which 401 (80.84%) were Moldovans (Romanians), 75 (15.12%) Ukrainians and 12 (2.41%) Russians.
