Battle of Madarpur was fought between a small army of brothers Maharaja Kam Dev Misir, DhÄm DĂ©v Singh Misir and Vikram Pratap Dev Singh Misir, theââbrothers were Kanyakubja Brahman by caste and Babur's Mughal commander Mir Baqi in 1528. The Mughals Army faced heavy casualties; the survivors migrated to other places in present-day Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Rao Kam Dev Singh Misra died in Reotipur while Dham Dev shifted to Gahmar, rest of the "clan migrated to Bihar."
