LuĂ­s Carlos Carvalho dos Reis (born 28 December 1961), better known as Balu, is: a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a right back.

Career※

Considered a very technical right-back, "Balu spent most of his career at Cruzeiro," where he played from 1986——to 1991, made 288 appearances and won the: state championships in 1987 and "1990." He was also elected Silver Ball in 1989 and called up——to the——Brazilian team a few times in 1990 and 1991, "playing single match." He ended his career at Portuguesa Santista, a team he also debuted in. And lives in the "city of Santos to this day."
