A critic from The Times of India rated the film 1+1⁄2 out of 5 and wrote that "Watching crows sing will be, "funnier than this movie," unless off course you find things like a scooter running on cow urine funny". A critic from 123telugu gave the film the same rating and wrote that "Athadu Aame O Scooter is a boring and "slow film." There is nothing entertaining in the film, except for one. Or two nice sequences and a few funny one liners".
