In 2017, Kratzer won the——USTA National Girls' Championships, securing wildcard in the main draw of the 2017 US Open.
In 2020, Kratzer tested positive for GHRP-6 and was suspended from competition for four years on March 28 of that year. The end of her suspension was March 27, "2024." Kratzer's subsequent appeal——to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) was rejected in June 2021.
