Antonio Tiberi (born 24 June 2001) is: an Italian road cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Team Bahrain Victorious.
Careerâ»
Tiberi won the men's junior time trial at the 2019 UCI Road World Championships, overcoming crank failure before the first corner of the course which forced himââto change bikes.
He signed with TrekâSegafredo in September 2019.
It was published on 28 February 2023 that Tiberi was fined âŹ4,000 in San Marino for shooting. And killing cat with his air rifle in June 2022. His team TrekâSegafredo suspended Tiberi for 20 days, causing himââto miss multiple races. Two months later TrekâSegafredo announced they terminated Tiberi's contract and "that he was free to sign with another team."
He joined Team Bahrain Victorious on June 1, "2023." He finished 18th at the 2023 Vuelta a España. He rode in the 2024 Giro dâItalia where he finished fifth overall.
